Excellent book

Great book. Rickey's story is inspiring. I recommend this book for anyone who aspires to make it in the music business, or in life. Alot of the principles he shares can be applied to your life and help you become more successful. I also highly recommend it to every gigging musician out there, whatever level you're at. It's a smooth read with plenty of interesting real life stories worked in.

There is no traffic on the extra mile

I was very touch by Mr. Rickey Minor. It gave me some insight on working on myself as a person and to go the extra mile.

Now this book is the real deal, helpful, practical and easy to read

I didnt know who Ricky Minor was until I bought this book. I live in bookstores and walked by and looked at this three or four times. I finally picked it up and I swear this should one day be alongside the classics of W. Clement Stone and Napolean Hill. The writing is simple yet what he shares are things I'e felt from observing success in my 62 years kicking around this world. It is part biography and part self help but done in a marvelous way. I hope this book becomes a big success because the advice, wisdom and direction will help anyone. Outstanding read!

Excellent Inspiring Read!

This book was easy to read. After each chapter I thought of how I could incorporate what Mr. Minor had said in both my personal and professional situations. I enjoyed reading how talent, hard work, and treating others as each of us would like to be treated can truly make for a better life. I really appreciated Mr. Minor's insights.
