'There's More: A little something called Grace' is a testimony of the author's life and how poetry, writing, and God have changed her troubled youth for the better. The book is separated into two parts: "I Was Lost, but Now," and "I Am Found," which reflect her favorite line in the song "Amazing Grace." In part 1, she explains her move from her birth country, Haiti, to Dominica, and how she found God through her writing. Part 1 ends with ten poems, the first she has ever written. Part 2 explains how she has changed her style of living from self-pity and darkness to be optimistic, hopeful, and thankful for everything around her. She now understands that writing has transformed her life and made her into the person that she is. My name is Sergeline Michel and I was born in Haiti, I enjoy reading and writing. I am passionate about ministry and non profit work. I wrote There's more because I believe that one of the ways to gain souls for the kingdom is through our testimonies. I love talking about my faith and I love sharing my story to encourage others as much as I can.
