My Favorite Book When I was a Child!!!!!!!

I had a list of favorite books when I was a child, but this book was at the very top of that list!! It is an extremely cute book about a monster that didn't like to eat houses, but only did because that was the only thing available. But Sir William and friends decided to see if the monster would eat pies. I am quite thankful that my mom preserved this book as I just found it the other day. It is worn and there is tape on the binding because I loved to read it so much. I always loved the cute monster with the pie all over his face and the little bubbles coming out of his pipe tail. Kids will love this book because it is really illustrated good with funny pictures and a good overall story.

Adorable and entertaining

This is a very cute book about a "monster" that begins eating houses. The monster is really a steam shovel and a brave knight helps it to find a more appropriate meal - pies! It is a very entertaining book that goes to show that you don't have to kill or destroy something that is bothering you in order to make it stop.
