The relationship between the Father and the Son has been one of, if not, the most difficult principle for me to satisfactorily understand. I take a little, but not much, comfort in knowing that many scholars have the same problem as I do, which is evident by their vastly different theories and explanations. This fact should not deter any of us, who love the truth, from studying this beautiful and fascinating topic. The title of this writing was found in the Bible, in Paul's first letter to the Corinthians, chapter 8, verse 6 where he says, "there is One God, the Father". Is it possible that Paul is simply stating that the One God, Who is referred to, so many times in scripture, is the Father? If so, that opens the door to a host of questions, primarily about Who Jesus Christ is. In this study, as always, we depend on the inspired sacred scriptures to find the answers. My prayer for you the reader, is that you willing and able to set aside your pre-conceived ideas, especially those based on man's doctrines, and ask the holy spirit to open the eyes of your heart to allow a fresh "spiritual" revelation to enter, one that will return you to your First Love, Who is, none other than, the Lord Jesus Christ.
