Easy-to-cook recipes with ingredients that are already available in your own kitchen. The statements "there is no oven in Inang's kitchen" and "there is no pork in Inang's kitchen" are both true. So, this is also a no-pork cookbook.

The authors - Francis and Magida - are siblings along with three others. Despite their distance (Francis lives in the Philippines while Magida in Saudi Arabia), they remain close by love, trust and inter-dependence which are watered by deep friendship and constant communication. Some of their emails and phone calls are about recipes - Inang's mostly.
