Theological Dissonance: A critical Examination Of Oneness Theology

Our Theology should not be founded on mere presuppositions or traditional views, but it should be founded on the authority of what is written. Since I am writing this to refute Oneness Theology - I find it very common that Oneness Theologians in their (sermons, literature, podcasts, social media platforms...etc) have the attitude, "well yes it says that, but it doesn't mean it that way" referring to specific Biblical passages]. In my personal conversations with many Oneness adherents I notice a common dismissal or avoidance of specific Biblical texts. There are noticeable inconsistencies within the Oneness' line of argumentation. Oneness Theology is unsubstantial and is based on a presupposition of certain Biblical passages. Oneness Theology not only rejects the Trinity, but Oneness adherents ultimately deny the Preeminence of the Son. Oneness adherents insist that the Son of God did not exist before the incarnation, but that He was merely a "plan, thought, concept, or mere abstraction" in the mind of the Father. By this they deny that Jesus Christ, the Son, "came in the flesh" (1 John 4:1-3). A person cannot have the right Gospel if they have the wrong Christ. Therefore, I would compel all Oneness adherents to rethink their position and repent of their heresy in light of the following examination.
