Theo-Psychological Treatise: A Lucid Romantic Venture

A treatise is a philosophical work. The prefix "theo" essentially means: something having to do with God. And psychology is, of course, the study of the human mind. And thus emerges the name of my book. It is a systematic discussion of my ideas about God and Mind. The first part of the work is called Imagination. The second part is called Knowledge. The third part is called Angelism. And the fourth part is called Romance. Across these parts, I develop ideas which deal with several branches of what has traditionally been called philosophy. These include: metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, phenomenology, and cognition. In truth, though, what this book contains is less a philosophical system than it is a poetical vision: not a set of ideas so much as a way of seeing the world. And the subtitle of the work is a reference to the fact that the name of my vision is lucid romance. I begin the present work by identifying lucid romance as a Christian cult-and things develop from there. My name is Sethu A. Iyer, and I make my living as a freelance writer. I completed this book at the age of 26. This is my second published work. It can be understood as the continuation of my basic project as an artist and a man: the project of bringing a whole world of imagination into being.
