A heartwarming story!

I loved this story! It really had an inspiring message. It isnt Kings, presidents, and celebritys that change the world, but everyday people who reach out to love those around them.

Beautiful!

Christmas is coming and Michael Brewster is dreading it. His life is empty... until his neighbor suggests The Secret Santa Society. Michael's first contact with Kirsten Morrison, the driving force behind The Secret Santa Society, leaves him floundering and unsure. And yet day after day, he returns to volunteer. Will Michael and Kirsten find love this Christmas? What a breathtakingly beautiful book! Cara Colter's writing is sheer poetry. Her use of the figurines as a metaphor for love is poignant and captivating. The images she creates simply spring to life as it was easy to see the story unfolding through both Michael and Kirsten's viewpoints. And oh, the humor at the varying opinions on the figurine collection! I could only sympathize with Michael at his reactions but I saw another side, a touching, almost heartbreaking side through Kirsten's eyes. After all, how many of us have wanted something we never thought we could have? The emotional depth of this story is almost startling in its intensity. 4.5 Stars: Playful Christmas romance -- the joy of giving from the heart

Christmas approaches, the first Christmas that Michael Brewster has spent without his family. A neighbor sees his inner pain and tells him the only way to survive is to find others in more pain and give. Theodore sends him to the Secret Santa Society. Kirsten Morrison may not be a top model in her fashion sense but something about her grabs Michael ---even if she does collect these insipid sweet porcelain Little Love figurines. Together Michael and Kirsten work to bring Christmas wishes to needy children but how can their Christmas wishes come true when they must first learn to trust? THEIR CHRISTMAS WISH COME TRUE is fun Christmas romance. Cara Colter adds new, special and refreshing dimension to her characterization, allowing the reader see Kirsten through Michael's eyes. Even though I myself do collect figurines eggs off and on, I too fantasized about breaking one of these too sweet Little Love figurines and yet as a reader, I liked the heroine despite her hobby. By using this narrative technique, Cara Colter allows the reader to feel how Michael could hate the collection and love her, giving a playful and less idealized view of love. THEIR CHRISTMAS WISH COME TRUE includes a nice Christmas message that emerges from the plot. Readers will appreciate Kirsten's gift to Michael quite a lot as well. Kirsten's spur-of-the moment decision gives a whole freshness to the last minute creativity during the Christmas crunch as well as the joy in the very act of giving. Cara Colter's Christmas romance provides a wonderful variation on the Cinderella and Knight in Shining Armor themes by both paying homage but also playfully demystifying them into a more realistic modern setting. THEIR CHRISTMAS WISH COME TRUE is a playful yet tender holiday or anytime-read romance.
