Poetic Bliss

I am thankful that my sister-in-law gave me this book otherwise I may have never found it. There is an uplififting poem, or sometimes a quote, usually from famous literary figures, for each day of the year. The selections often remind me of the poems I'd have to decipher on my exams at my college prep. school for girls. I didn't appreciate them at the time but now I enjoy the challenge. Each month features a beautiful timely painting. These are worth the price of the book! There also cute little drawings throughout. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading and deciphering poetry; meditating upon uplifting quotations; and viewing bucolic oilpaintings.
