The Worry Worm

By Lazer Brody

Two little worm sisters grow up in an apple. One thinks that the apple is the entire universe. The other knows that the apple is only a temporary dwelling and that a vast, beautiful world exists beyond its moist walls...

Children often worry about the dark, being left out, and things they don't understand. Adults might worry about health, paying bills, raising a family, and the future. Worry is common and natural. But Jewish wisdom reminds us that chronic worry is a sign of forgetting who is in charge and not trusting in Hashem.

That is the gentle, profound lesson at the heart of The Worry Worm, the newest addition to Rabbi Lazer Brody's Grandpa Isaac's Stories series for children.
