A Government research agency recruits Dr. Harry Stevenson, from Cal Tech, to lead a project to develop a top secret, high-risk wormhole system technology to facilitate deep space exploration in the far reaches of the galaxy. What starts out as a gift to allow humanity to explore the stars, becomes a struggle to complete the project and defeat terrorists who infiltrate the project with a single objective - to steal the technology to develop a weapon of mass destruction.
