This book is a philosophical essay written in free verse. It comprises a progressive collection of poems organised into seven chapters. The author has titled it: 'The Great Ones of the World'. In it, he speaks of the greatness experienced in everyday life through the tasks we undertake. This obligation is lived out between two states: that of acceptance and that of indifference towards oneself in relation to others. These great beings are recognisable by what they do in visible silence; a silence born of humility. They possess traits that are hidden from view yet of great significance. They live.
