Well, it was okay.

A collection of short essays on various curious subjects, Many of the Olde Standbys are here: Borley Rectory, Mary Celeste. the Barbados coffins, Ben Bathurst, the Green Children of Woolpit, But there are plenty of less well-known stories as well. The essays are short on critical thinking, pretty short on facts, and rather too long on excited speculation. It's clear that the authors have bought into the paranormal/extraterrestrial answer to everything they mention. Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff in this book is certainly weird. But much of it lends itself to far simpler, if less exciting, explanations. If you want a quick roller coaster ride, this is your book. I read it in two hours. But if you want some hard information and clear thinking about things that are hard to explain, you'll need to look further.
