The World's Great Sermons Vol. 3

By Grenville Kleiser

Book Overview

The World's Great Sermons V3 is a collection of speeches and sermons from some of the most renowned preachers and religious leaders in history. Compiled by Grenville Kleiser, this third volume features sermons from the likes of John Calvin, Jonathan Edwards, John Wesley, and Charles Spurgeon, among others. The sermons cover a wide range of topics, including faith, repentance, salvation, and the nature of God. Each sermon is presented in its original form, allowing readers to experience the power and passion of these great speakers firsthand. This book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of religious thought and the art of preaching. As God can send a nation or people no greater blessing than to give them faithful, sincere, and upright ministers, so the greatest curse that God can possibly send upon a people in this world is to give them over to blind, unregenerate, carnal, lukewarm, and unskilful guides. And yet, in all ages, we find that there have been many wolves in sheep's clothing, many that daubed with untempered mortar, that prophesied smoother things than God did allow. As it was formerly, so it is now; there are many that corrupt the word of God and deal deceitfully with it.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
