A boy named Max just moved to a new neighborhood. A short time later, he finds a device that can control non living objects. When he shows his new friends the device, he believes that they will all go on an adventure. Sure enough, they come across a kidnapping plot. Not being able to prove the plot to police, the kids use their knowledge and the device to stop the kidnappers as best as they can.
