The first known record of the production of Kubits was in 284 AV (After Voll) during the first stability of The Academy. Once the small portion of the Denisovans that could secure safety from the creatures and use them as domesticated creatures were trained. The Celestials were the guardians of men, truly homed in the power of controlling these creatures. When they were able to protect it, they created a currency of Kubits. It was mutually agreed upon by the realm as the standard coinage, produced by The Banking Legion. If you were to have six Kubits, you would then have a Crown. The "street" term for one six-piece crown is a "wheel" due to its similar looks to a wagon wheel. If someone were to barter with someone and their price was six crowns, it would be thirty-six Kubits.
