The World In You

The World in You is a series of poems addressed to the reader. The book is the follow-on volume to "You in the World" (Tarang Press, 2010) and continues to explore themes from culture to the individual, dreams and self, and the past, present and life transitions. The "You" in the title is personal and universal. The first volume, You In The World looked out towards the world, this volume takes it in. The poems continue to pose questions that are timeless and contemporary. They offer the reader a poetic mirror to reflect on the inner and outer world. Some of these poems are part of the poetic-music-video mash-ups Stevens created in the DVD: VideoTonePoem Suite I 2014 (found on amazon.com) Included with the 103 poems are ten paintings by the author.
