"You know what I find fascinating?" Chiara interjected. "The possibility that through these new technologies...I don't know if it's possible, because I really don't know that much about science, but what fascinates me is the idea of being able to have sharper senses, like those of a cat, for example. Sometimes I get up during the night, and I think how nice it would be not to have to turn on the light to be able to see. Cats see in the dark and their ability to do so is marvelous. Sometimes I imagine what it would be like to have that ability myself. But how could I get such an ability? I suppose I might try trading my soul," she said with a sly smile.
