New favourite

This is undoubtedly the best novel I've had the pleasure of reading this year. From the very beginning, it had me completely engrossed in its intricate web of suspense, making it impossible to put down. This book is an absolute page-turner and deserves nothing less than a perfect 10/10 rating. One of the standout features of this novel is the flawless execution of plot twists. A.J. Finn expertly weaves a complex narrative that keeps you guessing at every turn. The revelations are perfectly timed, leaving you constantly questioning what's happening and how it will all conclude. It's a rare book that can have you actively thinking about its storyline even when you're not reading it, and "The Woman in the Window" achieves just that. I found myself re-reading chapters just to savor the beauty of the language. It's a delectable read that immerses you in the story, making you feel like you're right there with the characters, experiencing their every emotion. It's a book I would gladly re-read in a heartbeat and one that has earned a permanent place on my list of all-time favorites.

Soo good!

One of the best books I ever read. I live the twists and I love the vibe I got while reading this. It was so good that I read it in 6 days. It’s not super scary, which I like. I definitely didn’t have a hard time sleeping, so if that’s putting you off from reading it, it shouldn’t. Overall, I LOVED it!!

Didn't care for this.

Would read it again or recommend to anyone. Slow and boring

Great read

It was slow at first but once it got going I couldn’t put it down!

Just my style

Loved this dark and twisty story. Keeps you in your toes. Definitely recommend!

Couldn’t put it down

I’m not usually into thriller books or books with this sort of plot, but I just couldn’t put this one down!the beginning is slower and sets up nicely for the rest of the book, but it picks up so quickly.

Page Turner

I absolutely could not put this book down, it really draws you in..I just couldn't figure out how it was going to end so I kept reading and reading!

Unexpected ending!

This book kept me wanting to know what was next! Not the ending I was expecting, it left me shook.

One of the best books I've ever read!

Extremely well written, I'm looking forward to more by this author

What a story! Just when you think you have it figured out....a twist in the plot. Truly enjoyed this

Mystery lovers, this one is for you. Just when you are sure you have it all figured out, so obvious...not so! A great twist in plot. I truly enjoyed this book and the angle from which it was written. It brings to light real mental challenges and the effects. AJ Finn you did a great job and I can't wait to see the movie!

Good read

While not as gripping as other thrillers I've read, it was a good read and kept me guessing. One revelation was obvious from the very beginning, but it didn't detract from my enjoyment much. There were enough other elements going on and I was still interested in the how/why/backstory of that particular one, so I didn't feel let down. The rest of it did keep me guessing right until the very end.

Easy Read

This was a great book, easy read. Suspenseful and enjoyable.

Great book

I really enjoyed this book. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. Definitely worth reading.

A must read!

I was looking for a mystery read during the winter break and found it in target while shopping and it had good reviews on the cover. I didn’t know I’ll be reading every free time I would get. I just couldn’t put the book down. It has all the mystery and unexpected twists. I highly recommend this book. I couldn’t pass by when I saw the book under new arrival here and recommend it.

Finished it in 3 days

I could not put this book down! I love that there were multiple plot twists and how suspense and thrilling it was. I finished this book in 3 days. Honestly I already want to read this book again. This book had my anxiety through the roof because of how mysterious and thrilling it was. I did not expect the ending to be the way it was.

Nothing you would imagine! Page turner!

Nothing you would imagine! Page turner!

Great read

Great read, way better than the movie. The movie cut out almost everything the book went into and it didn’t make sense. Read the book! Cover was really messed up but pages were fine.

Good read

It took a little while to get into it but once I did I couldn’t put it down

Very suspenseful!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The plot twists and turns throughout had me hooked. I absolutely recommend! I'm now looking forward to the movie which apparently has been painstakingly in the midst of works for yrs now lol 😆

Couldn’t put it down!

I’ve been trying to get back into reading and this book really got me going ! So many turns you’ll be questioning what you even believe.

Amazing

I honestly could not put this book down. It is a page-turner that kept me guessing until the very end! I found it similar to The Girl on the Train and Gone Girl.

The woman in the window is a MUST read if you love thrillers.

This is my favorite book. I loved how the book kept you constantly guessing until the very end. I was pulled in four different directions and I enjoyed every second of it.

Written well, story is slow

The lead-up was substantial. The story building was incredibly, and probably overly, descriptive. I was able to picture absolutely everything. However, the biggest gripe is that the climax and action are literally in a couple pages. I did not feel a pick up within the first couple of pages. I had to put valiant effort into reading this book.

I loved this book !

My first book by AJ Finn I look forward to reading Many more by this author Super storyline strongcharacters an incredible Book in my top 5 for 2020

I never would have guessed the ending

This book is kind of a slow burn, it builds and builds until the end when there are so many plot twists you'll never see coming. It was riveting. I couldn't put it down at the end, I had to know what happened. I stayed up late into the wee hours finishing the last third of the book and it was so worth it.

One of my all time favorites

I’m a big fan of thrillers, especially ones with a twist, and this is by far one of my favorites. This has multiple twists that even I, a thriller fanatic, didn’t see coming.

So many layers

This book kept me on my toes, I was only able to guess one of the twists by paying close attention in the beginning. The others made it hard to put the book down once it got going. One of the best reads I've had this year!

Can’t handle the shut in vibe

I don’t know if it’s because I started reading this at the beginning of COVID... but the day to day of a shut in was stressing me out. Had to let this one go.

Slow & then BAM!

This book was really good. Slow to start & then it gets really interesting. You just keep reading because you need to know “what the heck is happening”, “what’s real”, “what’s not”...I’m looking forward to seeing the movie.

Thrilling

This book was kind of slow at the beginning. But it was so crazy and thrilling!

The book had a very slow beginning.

so slow I put it down several times, finally towards the end of the book it became more interesting. It was good but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else

Slow, but rewarding.

This book starts off very slow. In fact in the beginning I had lost my patience and decided to read a different book. Eventually I came back to try again and it was worth it I really enjoyed this book it kept you thinking and made you not only question the character's sanity but even your own. When you start to think you know what is going on you get slapped in the face with a plot twist. A good read, just takes some patience because in the beginning it was too much details over things that I didn't think mattered, however they played a role in revealing what type of person the main character is.

Keep reading - it gets better

A slow and tedious start for me, but at about 200 pages into it, it all came together. Amazing plot with lots of surprises. It is a unique and well written book. Glad I stuck with it.

I couldn't put this book down!

It takes me a while to read a book but I could not put this book down. I wanted to know what happened next. I was consumed by this story. I absolutely loved it. It was so suspenseful. I definitely recommend this book!

So Good.

This book took me by surprise. I really thought I had figured out the twist but I’d only guessed a small part. Then another subtle clue in the text that I knew had to mean something and I still didn’t guess it! When the truth was revealed it was literally jaw dropping. Not being able to guess the outcome despite trying made this a super enjoyable read!

Super good!

I could not put this one down, I think I finished it in 2 days or less. A great thriller/suspense book that captivates you and keeps you guessing. Highly recommend!

Loved this book..a real page turner

Mystery is not my usual preference. However this book was not the usual mystery novel. this was a well-written psychological thriller. For a first novel, she hit it out of the park and I will read every book she writes. I would compare her style to Sidney Sheldon and Dean Koontz (False Memory). Be warned, once you start reading, you will not put it down.
