The Wolf and the Sheep: 725 Modern Tales for the Unconquered Mind

I have seen the world through the lens of a scientist and the eyes of a survivor.

I was born in the Soviet Union, a system that promised utopia and delivered collapse. I lived through the winters of 1991 to 1993 in Armenia, years without electricity, gas, or food, where the silence of a housing complex meant that the elderly within had succumbed to the cold.

I have seen the Soviet Union and its downfall, the post-Soviet Armenian state upheavals, and the United States up close for the last 26 years.

As a biophysicist, I solved a substantial problem in the mechanism of blood circulation. As a citizen of the 20th and 21st centuries, I have studied a different kind of circulation: the movement of power, the anatomy of lies, and the predictable behavior of humans as a herd.

The directives in this book are observations of a scientist who witnessed empires' fall, nations' bleeding, and new "messiahs" leading human-sheep to the same slaughterhouses across different continents.

This book is designed to help you separate essence from form, and methodology from ideology. It is a guide for those who find themselves in harsh social conditions and for those who wish to avoid the "scum" of idiots and maniacs that modern society produces in abundance.

This book is a diagnostic tool for reality and a manual for the sovereign individual. If you want a book that will make you uncomfortable enough to grow, this is it.

Most books tell you what you want to hear. This one wakes you up and directs you to act and win.

How did I write these directives? Over the past 15 years, I have been active on Facebook, keeping up with Armenian and global politics. I have collected many of my thoughts on Facebook, which, of course, included anger over my national history, the current state of criminal politics locally and globally. These thoughts differ in subject and theme and are ordered not by means or subject, but by length.

Now, my life philosophy is the following: I have managed to keep myself away from the idiots, maniacs, and "genius" people who are so abundant nowadays. I will do my best to avoid them during my senior years.

The reader may find several descriptions of the same idea that depict different shades and aspects.
