Marisa is a powerful witch returning to the home she grew up in upon her mother's tragically sudden death. Upon her return The Witch is greeted by Kendall, a local detective looking into mysterious deaths that seem to coincide with the arrival of the mysterious Marisa.

Kylee is a young woman who joined The Group at her local church as a way to spend more time with her boyfriend, but she got much more than she bargained for when a new and frightening world is opened up to her.

As Marisa tries to find the cause of her mother's suspicious death, Kylee searches for answers to what has happened to her during her time with The Group. Kendall's suspicions of Marisa only deepen as he gets to know her, but his feelings for her get in the way of his judgment.

Kylee and Marisa begin to form a bond that brings them closer together, but threatens The Group and gives Kendall reason to suspect that both Marisa and Kylee might be more dangerous than he ever thought possible.
