The Winnipeg Connection brings the past alive through previously unpublished work by Chester Duncan, Margaret Laurence's 1949 poem "North Main Car" (on Winnipeg's fabled North End), a journal/poem by Patricia Blondal and Jack Ludwig's essay on the "Atrocity" uproar. Contributors Walter Swayze and Jack Bumsted, Christopher Dafoe and Dick Harrison, Meeka Walsh and Dawne McCance, Margaret Sweatman and Di Brandt, Tricia Wasney and Gene Walz, among others, challenge us to see Winnipeg in a new way.
