Windbreaker is a funny story about learning manners and regulating one's less than polite habits. Mason finds that even though passing gas is a normal bodily function, there is and time and a place where one should relieve oneself. Mason farts in school, at home, and his farts on the school bus, but he isn't stopped until he's in front his mom. Then he learns that passing gas, although can be seen as funny (he and his father laughed at farting on YouTube), is gross in many situations.
