A crippled airship appears in the southern skies of Venus one day. Its only occupant and survivor: a child named Aeolia. Together, they navigate the stormy skies of their planet as she becomes a young woman who daydreams about the impossible day her people will return to space.

There are unknown forces lurking in the farthest reaches of the planet, forces that will stop at nothing to subjugate the world. Aeolia and the Cythereans scramble to put together a response as their way of life is tested to its limits in a desperate struggle for survival.
