Beautiful. Tear inducing short and sweet.

The writing style is simple to read and direct, but written so well. It brought tears to my eyes several times. The story moves quickly, though the writer still gives all the information needed to feel deeply for the main character, and the other characters that enter the story. The bond between the boy and his dog, the adventures they share, the danger they share, and the circumstances which drive him into the wild then out again, created a wonderful story. I couldn't put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
