The Wind Healer

Pema's healing practice at the newly established Windy Ridge Monastery proceeds well but Pema is restless for more accomplishments and accepts an invitation to conduct his healing at a nearby village. There he heals difficult cases and teaches several local children how to relieve their relative's ailments. While this makes the village elders nervous, the villagers themselves are wildly supporters of Pema's free healing service. Twenty of the men in the village declare themselves to be Pema's personal army, available to help him whenever needed. Another monastery also asks for Pema's healing services, and he also sets up a practice there, complete with a training system designed to ensure the proliferation of natural wind healers among the noviciate.
