Every afternoon, at exactly four o'clock, Cec lia Monteiro crosses the square carrying a small blue handbag. Her destination is always the same: the old bandstand where her husband used to play the violin.
Over the years, Cec lia became part of the landscape of Rur polis. To the townspeople, she is simply the widow at the bandstand. Few, however, know the woman behind that name or understand the weight of the waiting she carries.
When letters written by Joaquim are found, memories of their marriage, the music, and old Sundays begin to reveal a story Cec lia was never able to bring to a close. A concert organized in the square may help her understand that continuing to live does not mean abandoning the person who is gone.
