KGB agrees to a clandestine meeting in Hongkong with a Chinese Military Eurasian female agent "The White Peony" dedicated to assassinate Chairman Mao. The KGB agent dies in a freak accident on the Star Ferry and is substituted by the CIA with Scott Bodette. Scott is subsequently drugged and seduced by the "White Peony." He later meets her again in Beijing but discovers a totally different personality. Is she a friend or foe? Or a schizophrenic split personality?
