The White*House Syndrome is a political-social satire that follows the investigation of the Special Prosecutor Rex Seplechre trying to ensnare General Merriwhether who is in charge of a top-secret project that is actually directly below the White House. (In fact, the Introduction mimics the Mueller Report.) General Merriwhether enlists the hapless Lt Col Archy Buonarraotti and his wife Rose. We meet a husband-and-wife Yiddish tailor and seamstress, Archy's slightly shady Uncle Jimmy and his wife Anna and the oldest stenographer in the Justice Department, Therese DeFarge. We learn of the intelligence's community trying to apply the Jerusalem Syndrome by kidnapping delusional translators of Kim of North Korea, President Putin, the Ayatollah and President Xi of Communist China. The four delusional translators escape the General and the White House with the help of Seplechre. Everyone proceeds to the UN for the opening of the General Assembly where the four translators are to confront the real-world leaders, they believe they are. We learn that Seplechre wants to rule the world, and in the end, we find out who does.
