A treasure seeker book.

This is a small book with ten short stories, which reference the location of a buried key. The author hasn't indicated the value of the prize or what the key unlocks. Only the solver of the puzzle will know. I gave it five stars for its simplicity of design and it conciseness.

A Brilliant Enigma

I did not expect to get spell-bound, but I have been. The book is very clever . The indirect allusions to people, places and times are perfect for any would be sleuth. This book has only one solution -yet to be solved- but has many marvelous roads on which to make the journey. I highly recommend this book to anyone. It has been perfect for me to share with co-workers, especially when we would rather talk about anything else rather than work. If the story is ever solved, this will still be a remarkable book.

Small Book Big Country

A friend gave me the Whistle Pig cause I like to travel. She thought I would be interested in finding the hidden key. She was right. Short easy stories. I think the key is to open your mind and research any possiblity. A good book for those who have short attention spans and a good book for those who have HUGE attention spans! Give it a try.

Dig in...

As a former English major in college, it was refreshing to find more behind Duck Miller's words than you can find with just one read. I am out of the practice of digging in... finding the hidden meanings behind a writer's words. It's not as if I am necessarily going to go look for the key - the challenge of finding clues and getting behind the words is enough of a welcome challenge for me!

Wonderful-Very Highly Recomended

This is a book unlike any other. With 10 exciting short stories, it actullay takes you on a hunt for a key that is hidden in a mystery location, somewhere in the United States. Along the way it provides fascinating fiction and nonfiction stories and references to American culture. This book is perfect for adults and children or anyone who is into a puzzle. I reommend it very highly.
