This book of original poems is probably different from others you may have read. I have a passion for both the literary and visual arts, and have decided to combine the two forms in this piece of work. I find that they work well together, and my intention is that the occasional images will add context and allow a deeper understanding of the poems they are associated with. By writing and sharing a poem, an author opens a window allowing the reader a view into their life and way of thinking. Including a few images in this work is a way for me to open an additional window that offers another vantage point from which to look inside and consider the poems; to see what I saw.
