The Werewolf of Hollow Creek

By: Lappenbusch, Michael

Author's Note:
This is a fully revised and expanded edition of The Werewolf of Hollow Creek, with improved pacing, deeper atmosphere, stronger character arcs, and a more complete resolution of the mystery surrounding Hollow Creek.

Jonathan Mercer returns to Hollow Creek after twenty years-to the remote village of his childhood, a place he believed he had left behind for good. But on his first night back, he realizes Hollow Creek has never forgotten him. In his old family home, claw marks scar the windows, footsteps move through the upper floor, and a child's voice knows his name. Outside, something with yellow eyes waits in the woods. Something that does not want to kill Jonathan.

Not yet.

It wants him to remember.

What begins as a return to an abandoned house draws Jonathan deep into the buried darkness of a village held together for decades by fear, guilt, and lies. At his side are Graham Hemsworth, a bitter old man who once lost his son Elias, and Caleb Voss, the man Hollow Creek has spent twenty years calling a monster.

But the werewolf is not the only horror in Hollow Creek. Behind the curse lie old family secrets, vanished people, stolen names, and a village that would rather hunt a scapegoat than speak the truth.

The Werewolf of Hollow Creek is a dark horror novel about a werewolf, a buried childhood, and a village that must learn to call its dead by name. Perfect for readers who enjoy shadowed forests, cursed places, slowly unfolding secrets, and atmospheric horror with mystery elements.
