Billy is the Weatherseer who is a weather prophet in modern time. He never makes a mistake in forecasting and his accurate forecasts are met with skepticism and mistrust. Our world leaders at first see him as a trouble maker. He is a modern day prophet that realizes that the title of 'prophet' comes with baggage. He is a sign of contradiction. He's young, inexperienced, uneducated and poor. Billy is praised and damned by presidents, kings and popes. His life goes from being a high school hero in a small town in Ohio - to a ward of the state and then to a hero once again. The full meaning of his vocation as a weather prophet gradually becomes clearer as our leaders take him seriously and Billy helps mankind in coping with our dangerous weather.
