"Rubber Meets the Road" Wealth Guide

I truly enjoyed this book and gained a lot of useful information from it. It's a wonderful blend/combination of the teachings of The Law of Attraction, Far East philosophy and Positive Psychology. This isn't one of those "cash in on the success of The Secret" kinds of books you see listed everywhere now. This is an actual growth curriculum; complete with workbook to further increase your chances of success. If you're willing to do the work, then this book should be your guide.

After this book, I choose thrive!

After a friend mentioned this book to me, I picked it up and put it down after Chapter 1. A couple days later I read Chapter 2. And so on. You see, this isn't the normal fluff you get with a lot of the other wealth books (and I've read a *lot*!). Many of the books out there are easy reads that "you can't put down" but when you finish the book quickly you realize you haven't really learned much you can apply. That is not this book. The Wealth Manifesto is actually very personal to you and makes you think about what is important in your life and where you want to be. If you're ready to listen to what Mark T. Rafter is saying and are ready for some introspection, I've got to believe it will have a positive impact on your life. Well worth the cost of the book to move from "getting along" to "being where you want to be".

A Wealth Book for our Flat New Age

As a "New Ager" with a strong practical streak, I loved this book. It starts from the basics - I mean, the very basics, such as how everything in the universe is an exchange of energy - and works its way, systematically, up to a detailed model of how to achieve wealth in the flat new world we live in. I have to say, reading this book really made me re-evaluate what wealth means, what my purpose on this planet is, and how I intend to make income and create value for the rest of my life. Rafter blows out of the water the tired old models of money-making and gives us a road map for thriving in life that goes far, far beyond the vapid "follow your bliss" and "think good thoughts" prescriptions of many modern wealth gurus. Rafter has one eye on passion, purpose and value, and the other eye on the economic realities of our age. I highly recommend this book.

A Call to Arms for the Senses

I'm a science and technology educator that reads a book every 1-2 weeks and for me a significant measure of a good book is one that has a single great idea. This book, "The Wealth Manifesto," has exceeded that by giving me more than a single great idea - it is packed with them and I consider this an outstanding book. This book is an awakening of the senses as well as a call to arms for quality of life. It provides a creed to excel for any and all phases of life that one may choose to develop and enjoy. It stimulates the mind by drawing together snippets of popular culture, literature, science and history. Unlike books that give simple rules to live by and just as easily ignore, "The Wealth Manifesto" caused me to stop and ponder the points. What in my life could I change to have a healthier life? This work is designed to develop a personal approach to fit life's situations to assisting with early monetary wealth achievement and multiple income stream development, to expanding our wealth domains to improve health and relationships. It even discusses the possible stage of high multi-dimensional personal wealth and becoming a magnanimous magnate to improve society. I rate this book a solid five on the dimensions of providing some great ideas, illustration of the manifesto creed, and that it have me reflecting on what I can do myself but how I can help others.

A worthy read for worth development

Being a big fan of self actualization and a more complete approach to wellbeing, I found the author's take pleasantly fresh and exciting. Rafter takes you through the steps of creating your own personally tailored manifesto and turns the attention on the reader by extolling the virtues of wealth as a part of each person's uniqueness. Filled with inspirational quotes from some of the world's most lucid minds, "The Wealth Manifesto" is a great reference for daily insight or a deep sit down and read for some hard core work on your persona. Neither stuffy or condescending, the book has a rather lively pace that enthralled me to completion. I would recommend this read without reservation.
