The following novel starts in the middle of our story with Sue-Ellen Winterwolf and her 'husband' Thomas Runningbear. We then travel to the past and delve into the lives of Sue-Ellen and John Redfox, her first husband. From there we return to the present... Then we return to Thomas' past and then we move on to the future.
