Remembering and reflecting on the last hours of Jesus' life has been part of the life of the church since the early days of Christianity. Gradually, various forms of the "Stations of the Cross" or "Via Dolorosa" were developed to help Christians make a spiritual pilgrimage of prayer. This prayer guide is designed to be used for personal prayer by anyone who desires to grow in prayer, whether mature believers or those new to the Christian walk. A brief explanation of the Scripture-based reflective prayer model is followed by a journal-style guide which enables the reader to pray with short Scripture passages. Praying in this way with Scripture can provide us with a powerful way to experience God's presence and love in our hearts and lives.
