One of the obsessions of the Nazi state was the elimination of all Jews. With characteristic German efficiency, at one point thousands of Jews were being murdered every day, and the aim was to reach a symbolic threshold of ten thousand victims daily. Could nothing be done to prevent this massacre? A group of four friends, two men and two young women, try in their own way to stop the killing of Jews in the Auschwitz camp. Even if their effort seems as futile as an ant's effort to stop a bomber from dropping bombs, they will at least try.
