The Washed Foot - A Rendering from Heaven. This is a story about a man that lived two thousand years ago, and about the commonalities we share in being human, and of the difficulties we encounter, and even embrace, on our journey to becoming Christ', and then walking in our Christendom afterwards. I think you'll find that many of the things He had to wrestle and combat, that they are things that we too have to deal with. and two thousand years later, still fighting the same war. Interestingly, the world that Peter had to contend with, it is far different than what we are left to confront. But one things for sure regarding both places in history, and that is His-Story. The story of coming to Jesus, and what must be left behind so that we can. In this, these two worlds that are so different, we will find that they are exactly the same in so many ways. This story is not completely about us in every way but rubs upon each of us in a unique way. I think you'll find that this writing is not the easiest to digest, even cryptic at times, but my hope is that it finds you whether you're in the beginning, middle, or even at the end of the time granted to you in this life. For it is only in this place called life, a life of old and of new times that, we do have an opportunity to share in His-Story, and then into eternity with Him - Jesus. In the simplest terms, what I've beheld in my own life regarding the short comings that've held me back, and still do at times, unfortunately and fortunately, those are what I write out of. And your life too, a great story that is in the process of being told. May God grant us both the boldness to tell our stories truthfully and right, and not from the hidden places we've learned to do life behind.
