The Wars Outside & the Wars Within

Inspired by my year 12 English teacher & the movie Dead Poets Society I began a 30-year journey of writing poetry. I've always wanted my poetry to reach people on any level and hopefully, even if it's some small way to resonate with an audience, publishing my work is the best form of giving back. My words and meanings are different from most poetry & this is because I find it difficult to read and have not been greatly influenced by other writers. I try only to open up a dormant part of myself and let the words freely drop onto the page. I do hope my words inspire others in my quest to leave my mark on the world.
