I thought nothing could top Sharon Sala's supernatural love story 'The Healer'. That is until I discovered 'The Warrior'. From page 1, I could not put this book down. I am endlessly fascinated by anything pertaining to Native Americans and the supernatural, and this had all the elements of a spellbinding story. Heartache...action...suspense and romance. Reincarnation to me is an intriguing possibility, and Sala spun the web so effortlessly in this magical novel that slingshots between the past and present. Sharon Sala is a quality writer from any angle, but this genre in particular is her forte, and I long to see more stories like these from her. She is such a top notch author who doesn't rely on a lot of fluffiness and absurd comedy, or trashy dialogue to sell a story. Instead, she lovingly crafts her characters into those which are recognizable, realistic and intriguing. Love, love, L.O.V.E.D. IT!!
Interesting Premise and Plot with Hot Male Lead Character

This was my first Sharon Sala novel; I'll be back for more if her other books have captivating plots with hot male lead characters. There were some historical and cultural inaccuracies as far as the Native American cultural points were concerned (as well as the existence of Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden in Iraq?!?) that bothered me. However, I bought this novel so that I could read a fun story on my vacation. It was absolutely perfect for that purpose! If you want a history lesson or an anthropological dialogue--look elsewhere. But if you want a romance novel that is fun to read with an intriguing plot, then read "The Warrior!"

Sharon Sala never disappoints. That's probably why she will always be an auto buy for me. Sharon Sala has created an edge of your seat page turner with The Warrior. I fell in love with her characters! And loved the intricate twists and turns this highly entertaining book took me through. My hat is off to a true storyteller.

This book had my attention from Page 1 & it was never altered. I give this book a 2 thumbs up for adventure & mystery. A truly well written saga which could happen? At least, it gives one food for thought!
Better than expected

I really didn't think I'd like this book much, but tried it simply because I have so enjoyed other Sala books. I'm very glad I did. Despite the subject matter (a 500 year old hero?), I found myself really falling for these characters. The story line never got bogged down in too much description or back story, as some books do, but kept moving at a quick pace. There was a great mix of suspense, drama, romance, and even humor.
