PrefaceThe Warrior Within: a poetic journey; has been one of the most difficult writing ventures of my life. 2013 has been a very hard year for me and I'm sure this book can attest to all that I have experienced. I wrote this book in tribute to my deceased son Teagan Skylar Joey Daniel Johnson. He is the main purpose that this book should exist. For without him I don't think I would have written another piece to save my life. I have also dedicated a section of this book in his honor. Through hard work, determination in overcoming fears and that of the most horrific grief possible I hope others who have suffered from the loss of losing a loved one can somehow find comfort in my words.
