In all, this was quite an interesting read. Not normally being an avid reader, I do not have many titles to compare it to. However, I found the language rather rhythmic, as if there was a purpose for each word to be there. This made even the semantics a joy. Now, the story. Not to give too much away, but a child is practically kicked out of a town because the town's wiseman turns the town against him. Well, being that it is no longer safe for him to stay, he has to run away on his own. He has never been alone before, so is new to him. Next, an old man visits him in his dreams, telling him that he must find him. This starts a journey of over a thousand miles, by foot.He does luckily get help along the way, but has more than his share of troubles. So, he has to find this man, or there would be no story. I don't want to spoil the story, but I really am impressed with the dream sequences. Much of the story is told in his dream worlds, and there are many different dream "levels". As he goes along, he discovers his destiny, as well as finding what he needs to know at that time. So his goals change, and he has many of them, but one ultimate goal, reminiscent of the title, to find "The Warlock Name."Well, the story does move fairly quickly, and was a good read, being 292 pages. Throughout it, I found myself several times with a wave of inspiration coming over me. Not only was the ending really good, it was the ultimate in finality from my perspective. The real ending is much like an epilogue, but you will need to read to determine whether he reaches his goals. I really don't want to tell much more.In short, I highly recommend this book. The few books I have read are quite different. It is as original as I can tell of what I have read. Also, there is good information about it at the website by the same name as the book. I don't think we can put websites here though.
