It's been a while, but...

It's been a while since I read this book, but I was so disappointed with the rating and review that the only other reviewer gave this book that I felt I had to add my input. True, this is a book about new step-sisters who don't get along, but it's really much more than that. This is the first book in a series and it's kind of similar to the Sweet Valley High series. There are two completely different girls - a blonde popular one, who is kind of air-headed as well as a brunette bookish one. A true recipe for disaster. These books aren't great literature, no. Heck, they aren't even "The Princess Diaries", but they are worth reading. I thoroughly enjoyed them when I was a young girl and I would recommend them to any pre-teen or teenager.
