When you grow up around racing, it seems you're almost destined to be a part of it when you're older. But it's not often that three brothers all are able to reach the top level of stock-car racing. The Wallace Brothers is the story about auto racing's most successful racing trio. Rusty Wallace grew up to be the 1989 NASCAR champion and his brothers, Mike and Kenny, are also competing in NASCAR. Rusty, who drives Miller Lite Ford's car number 2, has won 54 Winston Cup races during his legendary career and, as of July 10th, ranks fifth in driver points. Mike, driver of the Nations Rent Ford number 7, was a star on the NASCAR truck circuit for several years and currently is in 32nd place on the 2001 points list. Kenny, who drives Eel River Racing's number 27 Pontiac, ranked 23rd in points during the 1993 racing season and, in 2001, currently ranks 44th. This is the story of how they made it from their hometown of St. Louis to the bright lights of NASCAR.
