Imagine if someone you love and admire visited you from a distant shore (heaven, perhaps?) and helped you assess where you've come from, where you are, and where you want to go. Imagine if they gently, but firmly, offered you many insights about change, getting older, shame, healthy psychology and spirituality, and making your life sharper and more magical. This happened to me as I opened the door to my therapy office and allowed my imagination to listen to what I needed, but at times did not want, to hear.
