The title says it all

This book is truly a glorious vision of the Oxford Movement. While definitely a scholarly work, the writing is lively, engaging, and really brings the various individuals and their ideas to life. Each sentence is packed with meaning, and I found myself wanting to underline it all. The author expects the reader to already be somewhat familiar with the Oxford Movement, which I was not, but with the help of an encyclopedic dictionary I got up to speed pretty quickly. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Anglican history or in the sacramental, mystical aspect of the Church.
