A good little save-the-gold-shipments western

Jason Berch finds himself being sent by the Union army to investigate gold being stolen off stage coaches out near Denver. He's just out of the 3 years spent fighting in the Civil War and now finds himself playing detective and marshal for the army because they believe the gold is being sent to the Confederate army. Berch is forced into the assignment because a clue left behind points to him being the ringleader of the gang. Can he clear his name? Will he survive the assignment that puts himself at risk? Who is using his name as an outlaw? Once underway, it is uncertain he will even survive the increasing Indian attacks before he gets the chance to clear his name.
