A Love Letter is book two, picking up a week after Lost and Found. Louis Vinel fights to survive physically, mentally, and financially in Southern California while continuing to write for a profession. He encounters many life-changing events and opportunities and moves from place to place to keep his writing career alive.

Soaring is book three, picking up a week after A Love Letter. Louis Vinel finally finds some light in his writing career. The story takes place in Denver, Colorado, where Louis explores a new and unfamiliar city and state. While taking advantage of work opportunities, he experiences much of what Colorado offers and turns his life around.
