A top pick for fans of other books in the series

When a killer is on the loose, sometimes one has to take things into one's own hands. "The View From Frog Mountain" is another in Rebecca Cramer's Linda Bluenight series, this time following Linda as she is forced to deal with a killer roaming the mountain outside her friend's bread and breakfast inn. Fearful for her friends and family, Linda must act decisively. "The View From Frog Mountain" is a top pick for fans of other books in the series.

Frog Mountain: Great Mystery!

Author, Rebecca Cramer, is a writer who skillfully integrates a great mystery tale with her vast anthropological insight and knowledge of environmental concerns in Arizona. The View from Frog Mountain demonstrates Rebecca's ability to convey depth to fictional characters as well as elicit sympathy for native environmental concerns. As the main character, Linda Bluenight gets reluctantly involved in the solving of the mystery of disappearing household pets, she also experiences challenges to her own relationships and character. The story intensifies as a member of the village is murdered. The author's development of characters as the mystery unfolds keeps the reader intimately involved and in suspense. The solving of the plot is more predictable than the first in the Bluenight series, Mission to Sonora, but both mysteries are a great read!!!!

The View From Frog Mountain

If you love a mystery and Arizona you will love the Linda Bluelight Series by Rebecca Cramer. I had a great time with the variety of characters and have chosen which one I want to portray when it's made into a movie. I felt that not only did I get a good story but received a bit of education along with it. (Just the way I feel when I read the Tony Hillerman books). Lots of good twist and surprises in this one, more so than in her first book Mission to Sonora. Of the two, I preferred Frog Mountain but I have a friend who says the other way around so I guess you will just have to read them both and make your own decision. I am anxiously awaiting the third book. Keep up the good work, Rebecca.
