This compelling story is rooted in the human existance. While the main characters remain in broadcasted dissolusion, the underlying plot tightens its grip on the imagination and tugs at the heart. THis story of demon and angel, envelps the reader with fragments of both intrigue and hysteria. I highly reccomend this tale of ups and downs to anyone whos familiar with the black existance.
Boozy journey through a heart of darkness

The Videographer is a fiercely original portrait of a young artist's coming of age. The unnamed narrator is stuck in a dead-end job filming porn videos, when a teenage girl appears at his door claiming to be his daughter. His search for answers brings him face-to-face with demons from his past. Despite the lurid subject matter, this novel manages to explore a wide variety of themes, from careers to family to the search for identity. Through effective use of flashbacks we see how the narrator got into his current situation - partly bad luck, partly bad decisions. The characters are unique and memorable; the spare, ironic writing style seems inspired by the prose of Jay McInerny and Bret Easton Ellis. There are a few digressions that slow the pace, but the underlying mystery has enough suspense to hold the story together. The ending contains an unexpected twist that ties everything together and makes you see the characters in a new way.
